Rudy Poe

Co-Founder
Infinite Loop media, LLC

I began my career by earning both a B.F.A in Design from the California College of the Arts and an M.F.A. from the Department of Theater, Film and Television at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Upon graduation from UCLA, my first notable professional position was Research Supervisor and Assistant Director on the Emmy-award winning mini-series MGM: When the Lion Roars.
In 1991, I joined the sports-oriented advertising agency Creative Impact. In my capacity as Creative Director, I served as in-house producer, director and writer for the agency’s print and television productions.

Most recently, I have embarked on what has thus far been the most personally rewarding journey of my career. In 2007, I co-founded Infinite Loop Media, LLC with my colleague Richard Tavener. The company’s mantra is” promote creative thinking” and that’s just what we’re doing. Our joint interest in education as it relates to creativity, innovation and media literacy is clearly the driving force behind this endeavor. I am proud to say that we are currently working with colleagues at Stanford University, MIT, the National Academy of Engineering, the National Science Foundation, The Smithsonian, The Getty Center, and other highly respected institutions around the world to produce imagine it!, an international, open-source media project which focuses on the grand challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. Imagine it! is the first step in realizing our grand vision of building an entire new-media network based on the themes of creativity and innovation.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
